Recently, BeeHive Homes Senior Living ran a contest for their residents. The question was simple “What is on your bucket list”? The contest was a great success for BeeHive Homes and their residents. Our involvement came when one winner, a 90year old woman, wanted to sing on the radio with her town sister as they had done in their youth. The folks at BeeHive Homes secured our studio, flew in one twin that was living in Arizona to meet her sister living here in Reno. The reunion was magnificent and the music they made was transcending. When these sisters laid down their vocals, the inherent memory of working with each other was apparent. They fell back into the comfort of singing together, harmonizing and working a microphone. It was inspiring to witness the power music has over all of us.
