Recently, drama students from the local Performing Arts Signature High School came to the studio to learn what a voice over artist does. We gave them a script from a national radio spot we are producing and let them each step in to the booth. They slipped on the headphones, got acquainted with the microphone and tried out their voices on the spot. They were able to experience standing in the shoes of a voice over artist. Each student was directed in a variety of ways, requiring them to utilize their acting techniques. The chair of their department was beaming as the fundamentals these students use in classes were talked about and put into action during this hands on experience. Allowing students to see how their studies can be applied in various careers is priceless. We are happy to support education and inspire students!
