A musician conceived this room; you’ll see that immediately. It is intentionally designed to get out of your way so you can bring your art to life; so you can clearly see your fellow musicians; so you don’t trip over cords; so your sound is as pure and resonant as you can make it.

On the other side of the glass sits an engineer who knows voices and instruments; how they are supposed to sound and how to affect them to sit well in your mix. He also hears the string noise on bar 32, or a slight pitch variation you need to attend to, so you can quickly punch in a fix.
