On tour with Jersey Boys, Drew Seeley, an incredibly talented singer, was recently needed by his producer, Andreas Carlsson (Madonna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry) to do vocal tracks for an upcoming release. Although Drew’s show schedule was quite demanding, he spent two days in the studio with us providing Andreas with lots of options for the final mix. Not only did Drew cut multiple versions of the lead vocal, he also did four or five different tracks of all three back-up vocal parts. Thanks to Andreas’ co-producer, Kalle Engström, in Stockholm, Sweden, we were given great guide tracks to follow. Drew has an amazing ability to hear something once and be able to duplicate the part with accuracy and feeling. Keep your eye out for this rising young talent.
