Wires, chords, cases, laptops, headphones, the list goes on! Walking in to a studio during set up or break down can look like chaos, but each item plays an important role in setting up for the recording process. From the front office perspective, it looks like the musicians are “nesting”. They are settling in and getting comfortable. Carving out their own zone, just the way they want it. Each session has it’s own look. A reflection of the intimate music making that is about to take place. Organized chaos going in and organized chaos going out, strangely melodic in it’s own way.
